About George and Schlub Brass Works:
George Schlub got his start at a young age learning the art of instrument repair and building from his father, who owns the famous Loft Violin Shop of Columbus, Ohio. George also trained for years in Europe studying with Master Craftsmen Otto Zirnbauer, Jurgen Voigt, and many more. After moving to southeast Asia and building up Schlub Brass Works over 10 years, George moved back to Ohio in 2018, settling in Miamisburg and partnering with brass musician Josh Omaits to create Omaits Music. No job is too challenging for George, and the quality of his instruments is up there with the absolute best the world has to offer! All Schlub Brass Works instruments are designed and built from the ground up using top quality raw materials.
